Well the alabama trip story probably won’t ever be revealed here because well i’m just too busy. I’ll do my best to give you snippets of my life. The most recent of which was the beautiful ceremony that I attended, Alison & Kevin’s wedding. These dear friends of mine are basically the embodiment of the story book couple. Good luck and I toast to you two.

So the past week has been quite eventful to put it mildly. OK absolutely crazy.
I’ll fill you guys in once i write what ultimately will be a mini novelette of the adventure that resulted in me being in Alabama. Also I have to see which version I write that is so not to offend anyone. It was an interesting trip which now I do not regret taking at all. Definitely reminded me how much adventure i used partake in before Momiji.
I remember listening to the beliefs that those who long for the past are weak, but is it really wrong to want go back to a simpler time when you were at peace?
well its too late for that now… but I just have to vent and look to find peace somewhere else.
Okay Okay…. Slow down everyone. Don’t get too excited with the title. Its someone else that is getting engaged! One of my long time customers decided to surprise their significant others with a big fat old expensive ring, so of course I assisted in the affair like a good bartender. Of course, I decided to moonlight as a special events photog. Let the amateur hour begin!
After an hour of waiting and a few humorous miscues. Everything went underway and went of course well!
Congratulations Eli & Baker! Good Luck and Thanks for including this silly bartender in your special day.
So an update on the contingency plans of my life, I am excited to say that I am on the cusp of finishing my preparations for the GRE. I am not incredibly ready but however, the show must go on. I’ve realized my essay skills are quite rusty and during this week I most certainly will try prepare myself.
In the meanwhile, I leave you with some pictures of my friend’s cat, Larry. Unfortunately for the little bugger, the name Chopper did not stick.
As time goes by, more and more of my friends have visited what I like call my “mansion prison” of a house. Okay first, I have to state that I am not an ungrateful bastard and say that my family has blessed me with all the nice things in life. I am forever grateful that I do have a loving family that has been so generous enough to get a nice house for me to live in, but I didn’t ask for it. Ok too late… I sound like a jerk. Ok now I am digressing from heavy issues and statements, to bring to light that recently some of my wonderful friends visited me in Maryland and basically got me an unexpected day off from work! Also it was a great time to test out the DSLR and here are some shots!
Some were taken by the lovely Tlin, which have been only lightly edited I assure you.
And here’s a picture of the photographer of the day getting caught red handed in my cookie stash!
After taking a brief trip to the buffet restaurant for a quick bite, I decided to forgo the typical trek to DC to work and stay home in the evening. Its crazy that I haven’t spent an early evening in my house since the sushi restaurant opened. The autumn sunset made the neighborhood really warm and pretty so I decided to take a walk with the camera. More pictures of that excursion to come. I took some interesting shots. However my neighbors probably saw what they thought looked like lost Asian tourist oddly interested in taking pictures of bushes….
gawd i feel old… even though I’m not, despite what my little nephews tell me.
I’ll be living that 20s something city life one day…
Booo!!! Its me birthday today. This makes me happy.
